Beginner level course: Everybody interested in Music can take up our Beginner level course. Once you enrol for the course, you must dedicate yourself and practice regularly. We urge you to book a free 30-minute Intro Session with our expert teacher, who will help you decide which course is right for you. Intermediate level courses: If you wish to enrol directly for Intermediate level courses, you should have a basic understanding of Swar, Taal & Thaat. Students must also complete a Beginner's course from Nāadgoonj Academy to be eligible to enrol directly for our Intermediate level courses. If you've completed the introductory course from any other teaching institute, our expert teachers will evaluate your fundamental understanding before admitting you to the Intermediate Course via our Intro Session. Advanced level courses: If you wish to enrol directly for advanced level courses, you should have a basic understanding of Swar, Taal, Thaat, Bhaav, and Raag. Students must also complete Module 1 of the Intermediate level course from Naadgoonj Academy. Suppose you have a fair knowledge of the Swar, Taal, Thaat, Bhaav and Raag, which you have learned to perform from any other teaching institute; in that case, our expert teachers will evaluate your know-how before admitting you to the Advanced Course via our Intro Session. Each course session is of 60-minute duration with a grace period of 10 minutes. During the grace minutes, the teacher can complete the point they are teaching or address a query from the student.

Therefore, although you and your friend wish to learn together, your course sessions will be conducted separately. You both will learn the same curriculum if you plan to enrol for the same course. You and your friend can start learning together on the same day at different times but practice together on your own.

For the Beginner-level course in Indian Classical Music comprising a total of twelve (12) sessions, you can either choose to pay for the entire course of a total of twelve (12) sessions or pay for four (4) sessions at a time. Similarly, For Module 1 of the Intermediate level course in Indian Classical Music comprising of a total of sixty (60) sessions, you can either choose to pay for the entire course of a total sixty (60) sessions or pay for twelve (12) sessions at a time. For Module 1 of the Advanced level course in Indian Classical Music, comprising a total of thirty (30) sessions, you can either choose to pay for the entire course of a total of thirty (30) sessions or pay for twelve (12) sessions at a time. If you cannot attend the session, please ensure to call or email our student-support team at least 24 hours before the session. In case of an emergency, if you cannot inform the student-support team, do not worry. We shall push your scheduled session to the next week, on the same day and at the same time.
The provision to request pushing the scheduled session to next week is mainly available only in case of unavoidable circumstances because of teachers, students, or both and cannot be taken undue advantage of. For a beginner-level course comprising twelve (12) sessions, the student can request to push back the course by a maximum of up to four (4) times only. If the student fails to complete the curriculum missed earlier in this extended duration satisfactorily, then the student will need to enrol again for four (4) add-on sessions. For the Intermediate-level course in Indian Classical Music comprising sixty (60) sessions, the student can request to push the course maximum up to twelve (12) times only. Suppose the student fails to satisfactorily complete the curriculum missed earlier in this extended duration, then the student will need to enrol again with add-on sessions in the units of six (6) sessions each. Suppose the student has bought twelve (12) sessions in a module comprising sixty (60) sessions, as in the case of an Intermediate level course in Indian Classical Music, then the student can request to push back the sessions for a maximum of up to four (4) times only. Suppose the student fails to complete the course curriculum missed earlier within this extended duration, then the student will have to enrol again with either six (6) add-on sessions or an entire remaining course, whichever choice the student selects. For the Advanced-level course comprising thirty (30) sessions, the student can request to push back the course by a maximum of up to 6 times only. If the student fails to complete the curriculum missed earlier in this extended duration satisfactorily, then the student will need to enrol again with add-on sessions in the units of six (6) sessions each. If the student has bought six (6) sessions instead of the entire course module of thirty (30) sessions, as in the case of the advanced level course in Indian Classical Music, then the student will be able to request to push back the sessions for maximum two (2) times only. If the student fails to complete the curriculum missed earlier during this extended duration, then the student will have to enrol again with either six (6) add-on sessions or an entire remaining course, whichever choice the student selects.
If the teacher cannot attend the session, our student-support team will inform the student well in advance via email and SMS. The student will also be able to see the change in the session schedule on their respective dashboard.
Learning is a continuous process, and we do not encourage students to take breaks during the courses once they have enrolled and committed themselves to learning Music.
All your training sessions will be available in your dashboard for the complete duration of your course. You can watch your training sessions anytime and practice the tips your teachers share. However, you will not be able to download the sessions anytime.
The easiest way to practice is by logging into your dashboard and replaying your completed sessions. This way, you can follow all the guidelines, tips and instructions your teacher has given you. Also, you can use the taanpura or rhythm you have used while learning with the teacher.

No, no exams are conducted by Naadgoonj. However you will receive a certificate of completion.
At the end of every course, our teachers will evaluate your performance. After you complete the course and our evaluation criteria, you can download the certificate from your dashboard in PDF format.
